Ross and Lynette Davis have been in the logging industry for over 30 years. Their new venture, Log Lease Ltd, has been leasing logging equipment and machinery since 2010. Formerly, RF Davis Logging, Log Lease is family owned and operated, based in Whangamata.
Ross Davis, Director of Log Lease Ltd and President of the Forestry Industry Contractors Association, is passionate about the logging industry. His business is an industry leader, using the latest technologically advanced machinery, equipment and training to help improve harvest efficiency and worker safety.
On the board of FICA for around 16 years, and President for the last 4, Ross works hard to promote the forestry industry, the advances being made to improve productivity, health and safety, as well as training. Ross is also a firm believer that forestry should be a career choice for both men and women; where people can learn important skills and there are plenty of advancement opportunities.
